Alerts
Subscribe to our free update alert service and you will be told when any content on the site in your chosen area of interest is added or changed.
Alerts can be set by topic (e.g. Underwriting), by group (e.g. a CII faculty), or by resource type (e.g. Market data). Look out for the icon at the foot of your chosen content page, or select an Alert from the list at the bottom of this page. You can set up as many different Alerts as you want.
4 easy steps to get email alerts straight into your Outlook inbox:
Step 1
Choose an alert from the from the list at the bottom of this page, or navigate to the page you want to receive update alerts for (e.g. a topic page, group page or resource type page) and click the icon at the foot of the page. This launches a new window containing the RSS feed (what’s this?) which will generate the alerts. Copy the URL (the website address) ready for use in a minute.
Step 2
Go to Microsoft Outlook, and click ‘File’ in the toolbar, then “Data File Management” from the list that follows.
Step 3
Select the RSS feed tab, and click on “New…”, and then paste the URL you copied earlier into the “New RSS Feed” window that pops up. Click ‘Add’.
Step 4 (optional)
The default Microsoft Outlook folder for RSS alerts is ‘RSS feeds’. To switch this to your Inbox, click ‘Change folder’.
To finish, click ‘OK’. Your alerts are now set up.

To unsubscribe
Simply go back to the “Data File Management” screen, select RSS again, highlight what you want to remove and click “Remove”.
