Society of Mortgage Professionals
A mortgage is usually the largest financial commitment a person makes in their entire life. Its importance cannot be overstated. Those working in the mortgage market carry a deep responsibility to ensure the advice and service they offer is out of the top drawer. Due to its importance, the market is extremely competitive. Whether you operate as a lender or as an intermediary, it is vital to your business success that you are able to offer your clients the most professional and knowledgeable standard of service.
The Society of Mortgage Professionals is a specialist division within the CII that focuses on the delivery of products and services for the mortgage industry. It was established by The Chartered Insurance Institute to provide the knowledge and tools to enable its members to continue to meet the highest standards and also to provide recognition for individuals who are able to demonstrate their knowledge.
From this page, users are able to see all of the most recent articles published by the CII, and search for resources relevant to mortgages.
For further information on events and seminars being run by this society, please visit the Society of Mortgage Professionals page on the main CII website, using the following link –
