The Life and Pensions Faculty supported a recent debate at the CII on the future funding of Long Term care. The debate, filmed in front of a live audience, and chaired by broadcaster Paul Lewis was held In association with: The Strategic Society Centre. The panel included industry, government and trade body representatives and focused on potential solutions for the funding of long term care.

All the indications are that we are on course for a late life crisis. That at least is something on which the main political parties can agree. A growing elderly population, improved life expectancy, pensioner inflation and a shrinking state scheme all point up the need for remedial action...
