CII Briefing: Retail Distribution Review Final Implementation
November has seen several consultations and other policy documents from the FSA in the run-up to the RDR implementation in 2013. This briefing summarises these developments and also links to European developments.
With RDR scheduled to take effect in January 2013, the FSA have published several consultation papers and other policy documents in the latter half of 2011. This briefing summarises recent developments, especially:
- Statistics: progress towards the RDR professionalism requirements,
- FSA thinking on RDR Post-Implementation Review,
- Waiver of Professional Requirements for Exceptional Circumstances, and
- Speech by Linda Woodall at the PFS Conference: provides an overview of the FSA’s activities in the run-up to implementation.
